Video is misleading. It's not a 1 year product.
My Previous MH, a 2000 Georgie Boy 36ft DP. bought new.. at about 9-10 years old I prepped and applied ZEP Acrylic. After the 1st year there was peeling of the acrylic just on the fiberglass area above the windshield. Because that area was hard to get to and not prepped properly. (Probably the 1 year problem he had in the video) I stripped just that area and reapplied the ZEP. Then washed the RV and reapplied ZEP to the entire RV.
After that, each year I washed and re-coated the ZEP, 2-3 coats. No peeling or yellowing until I sold the coach in 2015. Just wipe on a thin wet coat and by the time you complete one coat it's dry enough for the next. (wear latex gloves)
I used the ZEP on just the fiberglass sidewalls, and end caps, not on the roof or the painted cargo doors.
I agree it's not for full body paint but more for an older rig that has lost it's shine.
Another recommendation is if you don't want to use it, then don't.

My previous coaches/trailers, I used Borax to clean and then treated the roof with EPDM treatments form Camco or Protect-All. Always kept things in check. This one is a bit more work.

Recently, after a rain, the roof chalking leaches down the sides of the rig and looks like shite. By sealing it with ZEP (if it works), or other product is in my future.
As a Zep user I would not recommend it for what you want. Getting Zep off can be a difficult and labor intensive project if the results are not to your expectation. Maybe if you plan to only us on the problem seals but definitely not large areas of the roof. I would try Mop & Glow or something less industrial in nature.

Would adding a gutter rail work? Do it once and be done.

Thanks. Yes, my coach has gutter rails. Still, in some spots, there are areas where the water drips between seams etc, and stains the walls. I will try my leftover Future floor Polish I used on my boat. It should be similar to Mop N Glow.
