Zip Ties water pump temporary fix

The screws in my shurflo water pump backed replaced and tightened them still came out . Upon inspection the screws were not grabbing because the holes were stripped , I used some zip ties to get through the weekend . I have purchased longer screws and nuts will repair this week. thought some of you would get a kick out of this .

Zip ties and duct tape

zip ties and duct tape, must haves in any good mechanics tool box. I've zipped tied my license plate on before.

Good use of both black AND white Zip Ties. Hopefully you'll be able to avoid the racist label.

Take care,
Stu

First service on my MH the horn was hanging by its wires. Zip tied it up so it wouldn't pull the wires out and loose the horn. Still hanging there.

I repaired the pump by using longer screws with nuts and lock washers and a little locktite for good measure works great saved the price of a new pump.

Maybe consider Nylock type nuts instead of lock washers.
