Anyone have experience towing a Tundra four down? Manual says "do not tow four down".
No problem with weight.

Dont know about towing it four down, but be glad you have an 07 Tundra, it's far superior to the 05 and 06 models, Had an 05 that went thru 4 fuel pumps before 60,000 miles, the 06 was a bit better, but still had the horrible handling, placement of Radio controls, clock, cab light function, tailgate constantly falling down of the 05. Toyota has finally actually made a full size truck now. 24,000 and no problems so far. (And Toyota corrected all of the above problems for 07)

Andy,

We considered the Tacoma 4 down but Toyota expressed they will not honour the warranty if we did this. That is why we have a Nissan Frontier instead. You might want to call Toyota and get the official position.

When I bought my 04, I had the dealer include the Remco disconnect. That way no problems with the warranty. Over 50K miles, no problems with the disconnect. Love the truck.
