'13 Honda CRV Intermittent Clicking and Horn Beeping
We're on our 2nd trip with our "new" 2013 Honda CRV in tow...Blue Ox base plate and Demco Stay in Play Duo. On the 1st trip, the brake wasn't working. Took it back to the dealer yesterday and now the brake works great...just like it did on our 2002 CRV. However, we're hearing an intermittent clicking when we come to stops. Also, the horn beeps softly at some points during the trip, mainly seems to occur at stops. Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this?
I was in the CRV yesterday and the tech guy was driving the RV and we both heard the horn beep as he pulled back into his shop and came to a stop. He thought it was caused by me sitting in the CRV passenger seat while the vehicle was in operation (airbag sensor, seatbelt sensor? ) But it is doing it now with no one in the CRV. Another trip to the service center will be in order if I can't figure out what the heck is going on.
(We had Stay In Play in our 2002 CRV for about 2 years and never had any trouble with it).
One other thing I thought of is some type of security system being set off by the movement of the vehicle while in neutral.
