I have a 1992 Fleetwood Flair (ford) can I tow a suv behind it. Does it have enough power to do so?

Probably not, though it depends on the hitch rating as much as the capability of the Ford. What's the tow vehicle and how much does it weigh?

I had a 95 flair. Pulled a Suzuki grand vitera 4 wheel drive, no problem. Had the cheapest tow bar, tow plates, and hauled that little car for 9 years. Once the M/H died as we pulled in the campground. Used the little car to push the Flair in to the space. Flair had the 460 ford v8. Pulled us over "wolf creek pass". and a few others.

A small SUV, yes, you should be fine. Some vehicles cannot be towed 4-down so be careful what you choose. The 460 engine will pull dang near anything but you probably have a hitch / frame limitation of 3500 lbs. on your Flair.

I pull a 1990 Jeep Cherokee that weighs exactly 3500 lbs. which is my hitch max. I hardly know it is back there.

You WILL want an auxiliary brake system on the toad regardless of weight. The 460 chassis have marginal brakes without anything extra pushing against you in a stop.

Ok I realized this am that it has the Chevy engine (sorry) it says the max weight is 3500 lb I needed to be able to tow a third row seat I guess I will be renting cars when I need them. Thank you all for you help
