Made our first trip with the toad on Saturday. Everything went fine. Pre planning must be worth something. We hooked up the toad a couple of times . Rode around the block. Went to local middle school parking lot on Sunday morning so DW could try driving with toad. Went around the school to the left , then right, turning sharp, stopping quickly. She approved, and felt confident.
150 mile trip from Morehead City to Myrtle Beach.Of course I had more stop quicks than I wanted. Lots of questions about toad brakes or not. My vote is definitely YES. If nothing more than piece of mind then thats ok. I'm retired, worked all my life to get to this point ,not in a hurry, want to enjoy the driving part of RVing too.
Are we having fun or what?. Sitting by the lake, hot tub within 10 feet of the door. The next thing I got to do is a doctors appointment after the 1st of the year.
Merry RVing,
ed
