2 door VS 4 door jeep wrangler
looking to purchase a jeep wrangler to tow behind our class C Tiffin wayfarer. 4 door models put us over our combined GVWR. my concern is whether or not a 2 door is harder to re sell once we are done with it. also, any major differences in handling, safety, etc. TIA

IMO the main difference between a 2dr and 4dr is room for stuff, and the 4dr will have a better ride just as my Gladiator rides better than the 2dr I had before.
I don't think you will be happy towing a 4dr with your MH, especially if you're planning to store anything in the Jeep while towing. What model Wranglers are you looking at? Sport, Rubicon? weights can vary by model. Sport being the lightest

2 doors are great and won’t be a problem for resale. I wouldn’t drive either above about 70 miles per hour 😀

I've owned both a 2dr and two 4dr Wranglers. A two door is more maneuverable but not as comfortable to drive with the shorter wheelbase and lighter weight. IMO it's just as sellable as a 4dr. The 4dr Wranglers with their longer wheelbase is more stable and comfortable to drive. I have a couple of friends that have towed 4dr Wranglers with a Wayfarer.

We put a 2 Door Willys on a CAT scale and tip the scales at 4800 pounds. The 4300 pounds that Jeep claimed they weighed is a 2 door with softtop, manual 5 speed transmission and zero options. If you want to find out what a vehicle weights the day it left the factory subtract the payload from the GVWR on the door stickers will give you the weight when left the factory.

We tow a 4 door Wrangler Sport or a Gladiator Sport with our Bounder - while we definitely feel them back there we have had no issues yet. Be aware that with a 2 door Wrangler you can carry passengers, or cargo, but not both - there's very little room behind the rear seat for cargo...

Interesting. I weighed my stock ‘21 Jeep Gladiator Sport Willys with full fuel, otherwise empty and it came in at 4,880. I was worried it would exceed the hitch weight and GCWR of my then F53 based Bay Star Sport. No issues pulling it, but rarely had anything in it. My new E450 based Class C can pull more.
My previous 2dr Sahara, also stock, (2015) AT, HT came in around 4,200 (this from memory).
