2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Dinghy

Greetings all. We have a good friend who owns a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that her late husband dinghy towed. We would like to tow it for the widowed friend to save her a 500 mile drive, but I do not know the procedure for towing the Grand Cherokee. Can someone point me to 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee manual, or at least a copy of the page showing what needs to be done to dinghy tow? We and our friend would be greatly appreciative.

Was it towed 4 down? And was there a pretty standard electrical plug setup or was there there something not quite normal about light and brake setup? Although it might cost a few bucks it might be easier to rent a U-Haul car flatbed, use it for the toad and turn it in at a local place close to your destination. If the toad has a front wheel drive a tow dolly might also work. Advantage of either of these is that you don't need to mess with brakes or lights. Just strap it down and go.

I own a 2005 Jeep GC, below are the pages regarding towing. Hopefully they are the same. Follow the instructions exactly, not sure if it was the cause by I lost a transmission module and found I was not following exactly. That was ~8 years ago and haven't had a problem since.
