Has anyone had a problem with the check engine light coming on intermittently? We have a 2004 Liberty that we tow about a year ago the check engine light came on and the dealer could not track it down it went out.
Now it been coming and going again and the dealer can not figure it out again. Has anyone had the same experience.

Yep! Turned out that the fuel cap was not tightened properly. Make sure you twist it until it clicks 4-5 times. That solved my problem.

One has to TIGHTEN the fuel cap, till it snaps
3 times, or clicks! I had the problem on our
Lberty, and I reset it with SCANGAUGE II.
Also lost one of the O2 (input) sensers,
but I replaced BOTH as per my ASE Mech. Tenn.
