I'm the guy with all kinds of wind related problems -- fortunately, all fixed-- NOW!

The latest is on my new (since November) 2006 malibu 4 door sedan. Ever since I drove it home from the showroom it had a buzzing noise in the right front of the dashboard. I thought they ( Chevrolet ) would never find the problem to fix it. Boy, was I wrong! The young man got on the computer and found Document ID # 1874637. It apparently came out on 11/30/06. It addresses this problem found on 2004- 2007 Malibu & Malibu Maxx. The windshield wiper cowling is hitting the windshield and causing a rattling noise from 45 mph to highway speeds. It takes eight inches of double stick tape and .4 hr of labor to fix it-- the aggrevating noise is gone now.

My motorhome, A 2002 Newmar Mountain Aire,37' gas, had an aggrevating, howling noise, from 45 mph to 70 mph or so. It was the "freaking" upper grill. The 6 horizontal fin's were setting up a resonance frequency. I ended up welding some stiffeners to the fins, repainting the grill and "walla" its fixed too!!! I had called Newmar Tech support 4 times this past year asking for help-- they didn't know anything about the problem. I spent $2000 "chasing" this miserable howling, roaring sound, ie: new wheel bearings and transmission work.

If anyone has similiar problems, I understand some Bounders suffer from similiar noises, Give me a call or Email me, I'll be glad to discuss these issues with you --

@002 Dolphins had a noisy grill too. NRV had rubber inserts made to slip between the grill bars to silence the vibration & wind howl. Sounded just like your were blowing across the top of a bottle - at 55 mph!
