Even though I have always contended that the vast majority of FWD manual transmission vehicles can theoretically be flat towed, many disagree so I no longer mention that when I post.

Both Roadmaster and Blue Ox do make baseplates for a 2009 manual transmission Aveo but the owners manual specifically states that it can't be towed (see page 4-25 of the owners manual attached) ...from 2009 Chevrolet Aveo Owner Manual

And of course, it is not listed in the dinghy towing guides as only vehicles that are approved by the manufacturer to be flat towed are listed in the dinghy towing guides.

Plus, read this thread and specifically the post by "sofi" and it gets a bit difficult to justify when making a decision to tow it against the manufacturer's recommendation not to:

Anyone towing a Chevy 2009 (1/2) AVEO ?

I'd personally most likely be nervous to chance it.
