2012 Jeep Call of Duty MW3 base plate / tow bar

Left my 2012 Jeep Rubicon Call of Duty MW3 at Blue Ox in Pender, NE this week and was fitted for a new base plate added to their line of base plates. WoW, on this Jeep with the Jeep/AEV front bumper, the install will be about 15 min. and mounts to the factory/AEV tow loop bracket in a very simple install. Now those like me wanting a wench with this Rubicon / Wrangler setup has a true fit. Part # and base plate will be available soon, I was told about 30 to 45 days. Call them for more info.
Will post pic when I get home, if anyone wants.
I went there to get this done as the std. jeep wrangler/unlimited does not fit this model / setup. Truely great people to deal with.

I was going to buy one but am traveling in 2 weeks. Is there any quick fix for this? Can I call to get an expedited part?

Call Blue Ox, I am sure they will do what they can to speed it up for you,
great people to deal with. I had the part # that they were assigning to the baseplate, but can't find it now. Talk to Mike in customer service, he knows what it is.

Here is the setup BlueOx did for me. After my install, they now have a base plate for the 2012 Rubicon Call of Duty edtion, part # BX1133. Mounts to the AEV D-ring shackle brackets that is part of the AEV bumper install. This baseplate will also fit any 2008-2012 Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited with the after market AEV Brand Bumper which Jeep used for this limited edition Rubicon. Install is simple (4 bolts) and works with a winch install. I used the Warn 9.5cti-s for my install. Toad wiring plug moved to inside bumper because of winch install and AEV front skidplate, which was standard on the call of duty edition.

This install was a great fit to the COD edition Jeep that uses the AEV front bumper set up as a factory package. Blue Ox people were great and wanted to make a tow bar for this model, had many calls but no COD to make templates, etc. Drove 8hrs each way, 3 nights motel...but got loaner car, Aventa LX tow bar, base plate installed on Jeep, and wired...N/C ...all for a new fitment on a model they did not have. WOW great people.
Winch installed after base plate and went great. Many toad Jeeps out there that want winches, but most bumper/winch plates interfear with standard toad base plate installation. I always wanted a winch on my '08 Rubicon, but would have to make/adapt baseplate install. Blue Ox now has an option and I am pleased and glad I could help them, help others.

Looks great! Love the cod jeep!

Another option for those of us with winches is the Currie base plate. Much like yours, it mounts under the bumper and is tucked away. I just received mine this week but have not yet installed it. Could be a good option along with your nice setup.
