On my 2017 Jeep Cherokee I wire it and all wires are concealed on the outside in fender wells and maybe a run on the underside between fender wells and an area across the back. I used regular 4 wire trailer wire. The length is down the left side and across the back and then add maybe 3-5 feet to that. Trim any extra off at the end. I started in the front and worked to the back. Very simple to do yourself.
