2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with ready brake

Hello everyone

I知 currently towing a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with the NSA Ready Brute/ ready brake, but I知 also buying a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.

For those that tow the Trailhawk with a ready brake, how did you route the cable to the brake pedal? Where did you attached the handle in the front bumper?

Thank you for your help.

See my post (#7) in the link below on how I installed the Ready Brake on my 2015 Trailhawk.

Thank you for the info, I知 planning on tackling this project in the next couple weeks once I receive all the parts. Where did you get the bracket that you place on the bumper? Can you find one in Home Depot? Also, where did you place the connection for the lights?

I have the front plate area right in the middle, I guess I have to move that to the side.

For the bracket, I just got a piece of flat steel at Home Depot or Lowe痴 and bent and cut it to fit. For the light connection, I was just using a flat 4 pole cable and connector and brought it out with the breakaway cable. You can see it if you look closely in the first picture. After towing for over 30k miles, I finally had a couple of wobbles and added the flat towing harness and a charge line which required an additional wire so I replaced the flat 4 pole connector with a 6 pin connector with the connector bracket screwed into the bumper near where the original 4 pole connector was. The picture below is not a very wide angle, but is how it looked on the car.
