2015 Jeep Renegade

I've been holding off buying a basplate for my Jeep Commander until the new Colorado/Canyons come out later this year but some pictures of the new 2015 Renegade have leaked out. If this thing can be flat towed, I might have to make a decision between the new Colorado and the new Renegade. It's based on the Fiat 500L and it looks like a manual transmission is going to be available.

I don't know what a "real" Jeep is but I like it. Here is a better link with some better pictures. The Grand Cherokee is a Mercedes. The new Cherokee is a Fiat. The Compass and Patriot are basically a Mitsubishi (developed with Chrysler).

I guess the only "real" Jeep is the Wrangler?

Yup!

Looks like they stole the front end styling from the Nissan NV "van". Guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and even the ugly ones deserve a date.

If my choice was between the new GM pickup and - that - , I'd be in the pickup. Of course I'm old enough to remember Fiat's first attempt to crack the USA market. Those things rusted out on the boat ride over!
