2017 awd crv.

Maybe a Roadaster or Blue Ox may fit the bill.

As far as I know, the last year a CRV could be flat towed was 2014.

This. CRV went to a CVT transmission in 2015.

You can't find a base plate because your CRV is not flat towable behind a motorhome. I don't know what "Manual" you are looking at but the 2017 CRV owners manual on page 443 says:
Quote:
Towing Your Vehicle
Your vehicle is not designed to be towed behind a motor home. If your vehicle needs
to be towed in an emergency, refer to the emergency towing information.

As others have said, the CRV is NOT flat towable after 2014! Don't make that mistake! It will be VERY EXPENSIVE!

How do you know they didn't come back? They were online last night. Just because they didn't post here, doesn't mean they didn't read.

Probably came back, got educated, and was too embarrassed to let us know he was looking at the wrong manual.

I'm back..........................
I read your answers, thank you.
Just getting numerous contradictory answers from different people.
Btw....wife read the manual one morning in our car ,traveling.
I discovered something wasn't right when came time to do some equipment search.
Bottom line, don't believe everthing you hear.
Dealer input and associated vin # will be a sure bet.
Thanks for help.
Were going out tomorrow to get different vehicle.

A quick search on Carvana.com brought up 104 Honda CR-V's (2013-2014). We towed two Honda CR-V's.... a 2007 and a 2013, good cars!
Good luck,
Mark

No, model and year determine if a car is towable. Dealers don't really know much about this.

That goes for car dealers AND motorhome dealers!
Remco, FMCA, and your owner's manual are much better sources.
Regards.
