2017 GMC Terrain 6 cyl

In process of having a 2017 Terrain 6 cyl setup to tow.
Blue Ox base plate, M&G brake system, Charging wire.
I have read both owners manual and many of the post in this category.
It seems that most information deals with 4 cylinders with electric steering.
For those pulling a like unit, what procedures are you doing when you pull?
With this setup, do you still pull any fuses. 32? 16?

Another point I would like clarified; In owners manual it states “ vehicle should be run at beginning of each day...” Later it states “ to tow, turn ignition key to ON/RUN, shift to N(Neutral) then turn key to ACC.
Question; While engine is running it’s in ON/ RUN position, can I just shift it to Neutral and then turn ignition to ACC? Or does engine need to be shut off first and then go through procedure? I know I am not speaking of any real inconvenience, just eliminating a step in setup if possible. Thanks

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would do exactly what it says. Shift to Neutral and turn the key to ACC! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
