Silly Jeep having both JK and JL's in the 2018 model year! Pain in the arse for parts ordering for many years down the road!

cooltech instructions JK

I tried emailing cooltech and using their web request no replies! i used this email (Cooltech@gmail.com) and got a response , its not cooltech. I tried the cooltech sales email and now it comes back as undeliverable. All I need to know is what wire do I splice yellow wire to with factory tow.

I'm weeks out from doing our 2018 Sport S Unlimited. Hopefully I can learn from you and others. My main hold back is lack of a air conditioned work shop with lift. It's been brutal hot lately

I used the roadmaster kit (diodes) and spliced the wires. You really don’t need the lift as the Jeep has plenty of space to lay along side it and fish the wires through the frame from front to rear. It is stand up from there. I put my invisibrake controller in the little cubby hole. Worked out great. Brake lights install took an hour and half maybe. Invisibrake maybe 3 or 4. Don’t keep track of time real close as when I am playing I am having fun.

Travelwrench - there are 3 ways to contact CoolTechLLC. The online form, cooltechllc@gmail.com (note the LLC at the end of CoolTech) & sales@cooltechllc.com.

This thread is for Wrangler JL's. Your Jeep is a Wrangler JK. The wiring between these two models is completely different and so are the Toad wiring harnesses from the different manufactures.

You started a new thread with your question(s) and I believe you got answers there so hopefully all is good!

I never received a reply either, but I did receive my harness in a few days after ordering it.
