So while the Equinox says specifically that the 9 speed transmission is not flat towable I can't find anything that says the Buick 9 speed is not. I scoured the owners manual of a 2019 and it tells you how to flat tow with no reference to type of transmission restricted or required. Does anyone tow a 2.0 turbo with 9 speed auto in a Buick Envision ?

I'm so confused. I went and looked at a 2018 Equinox manual and now it also seems to indicate there are no restrictions on flat towing. The 2.0 liter turbo only comes with a 9 speed and that engine is specifically addressed as how to tow it. What does this all mean ?
