2018 Chevy Equinox & Tow shields

I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox that I tow behind a 2020 Dutch Star. Chevrolet does not recommend some tow deflectors. I assume that is because of a transmission cooling issue. I have used the Demco Sentry and like it. With the angle of the Demco shields and the rear radiator on my previous coach I felt there was enough air flow to cool the transmission. The Dutch Star has a roof deflector that causes air to go down the back of the coach. Does anyone have any thoughts on using the Demco shields with my Equinox?

Not sure on the Equinox, some are bottom feeders for cooling. Wonder if you can install some telltales and do a before and after tow to watch with the rear camera the changes in airflow.

We use the demco shield . I haven't had any issues, but I did drill several 2" holes along the bottom to allow more air flow, just in case.
