Most* manual transmissions are towable 4-down.
*What does it say in the owners manual?

Is there a base plate available for the 2018? If there's been no change there is one for the 2017;

The 2018 Hatchback Sport with a 6 Speed states this: Owners manual

Models with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
Improper towing, such as towing behind a motorhome or other motor vehicle, can damage the transmission.

It doesn't state the 6 Speed can or can't be towed.

Not a civic but I tow a Honda HRV six speed manual and makes for a great light weight toad. I believe the Honda Fit also does well.

Call Honda for confirmation?

Call a couple of companies such as Remco Towing, Demco Products, and Blue Ox and ask them what they know.

Honda also says the Accord Sport 1.5 and 2.0 liter engines with manual trans are towable according to the latest FMC magazine.
