2020 Blazer

Has anyone set up a 2020 Blazer AWD as a toad yet? I know its approved in the manual. I am just looking for results.
Basically the owners manual says put it in neutral and disconnect the battery, sounds too easy. Thanks

That guide is not complete it doesn't list several vehicles that are flat towable, check for baseplate availability from the manufacturers if they make a baseplate it's flattowable.

There are many vehicles that have base plates that not not flat towable from the factory and will void the warranty if flat towed.

Toyota pickup with an automatic is not flat towable but there is a base plate because you can install a drive line disconnect and make it that way.

More research would be needed, call one of the manufacturers of base plates and see what they say.

Guys thanks for the replies but its not what I was asking. I bought it after confirming it can be flat towable. I read the manual, I know the procedure.
What I want to know is actual experience from another owner. Any death wobble issue etc

I flat tow a 2019 Blazer with no issues. The setup procedure is a bit different on the ‘20’s than the ‘19, but no issues at all for towing. We have towed the Blazer from Buffalo to Albuquerque and back with no issues. Currently have it towed to Northern Michigan, again with no issues.

We use a battery charger that we bought from the RVi. That works well so we don’t have to disconnect the battery. Besides putting the car in neutral we also make sure we turn off the lane assist and all accessories.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Thank you so much. This is what I am looking for. So as long as I connect my rvi charge line I do not have to kill the battery, great info.

I currently am using all RVI on my 14 versa but bought the blazer last year for this purpose. Its time to make the change.
Thanks again for your input
Joe

No problem Joe. Glad I could help. The car tows very well and the RVi stuff works well, other than the tablet, which we are learning to live with.
