2020 Chevy 2500 Duramax flat tow.

Currently have everything needed for the ready brute elite to tow bar set up, I have a 2020 Duramax and the curb weight says 8200 pounds. I have not checked it on a cat scale yet, wondering if anyone has any experience with the 8000 pound towing capacity ready brute elite two and having an extra 200 pounds? Is that a dealbreaker? I understand some will say anything over 8000 rating is too much, however wondering if the towbar is likely rated below what it’s actually capable of. Thanks in advance for comments/suggestions.

With that truck....I would be looking at 10K tow bar and something more substantial in a braking system than the ReadyBrute. You start adding things to the bed, side steps, etc, you'll be closer to 8500.
