2021 Versa tow lights

Has anyone installed the extra sockets in the tail light housing, I know one member used the extra parklight space on the trunk lid for tow light. but don't look like enough tail light left for night driving. Just wondering what others have done.

When I towed my Jeep, I bought a trailer wiring kit and a set of 1157 bulb sockets.
All I did was drill a hole in the plastic inner shell big enough for the spring loaded sockets and used RTV silicon sealer to water proof them, I ran the wiring kit inside the body and through the floor of the spare tire well (there's a rubber drain plug in there) then along the frame to the front bumper where I mounted a 5 connector DIN socket, so I plug the car into the RV.

All you need is a 1-1/8 inch hole any where in the back of the tail light fixture.
(The location doesn't matter because it will show up when lit.)
Plus, on your car, you could use use the trunk mounted fixtures...

You can get the sockets at any auto parts store for about $2.00, trailer wiring kit is about $15 and two 1157 (dual element) bulbs are about $5 a pair.

Here's a video of a guy who added tail light bulbs to his Pontiac TOAD using the Blue Ox kit (Same principal, but a lot more money...)

I bought the extra sockets at Advance and done my Liberty, very easy to do. On the Versa, looks very close to having enough room to add the bulb sockets.
