2025 GMC Canyon AT4

I have read the threads for previous model year Canyons. I'm wondering if anyone has some insight into flat towing the 2025 version. I see some differences in the preparations used for earlier models that I don't see in the current manual, i.e.; pressing a specific button 5 times, etc. I also saw someone mention that the manual itself had an error. I previously had a '19 Ranger that had a Neutral Tow setting and was very easy to use. Any input would be greatly appreciated for this specific truck.

I didn't take a look at 2025 Canyon Manual, but my new GMC Sierra is a lot different than my 2016 Canyon was to tow. However, both my 2016 and my 2024 require that the battery be disconnected. I think that is the same along all the newer GM lines.

On my 2024 Sierra, I have to place the transmission in Neutral. Then I press the two-wheel drive button (2H) five times. That places the transfer case into Neutral. I then place the transmission in Park and shut the truck off. You then hold down the push button start without your foot on the brake, so you basically put the ignition into Accessory mode. Then the battery is disconnected. It sounds like a lot but takes under a minute.
