2108 Equinox

Has anyone encountered any problems flat towing a 2018 Equinox?
I do everything that GM says to do to flat tow but my battery goes dead after about 5 hours. Took it back to my dealer and had it tested .001 amp draw when checked for ghost draw. Hooked battery back and set it up for towing as per GM. Now it pulls about 5 amps. Car is now at the dealers trying to diagnose the problem.
Any suggestions?

We just set ours for towing. We put in a battery charger which forced us to change from 4-flat to 6 round cable.

Testing right ow whether the 12 volt receptacle on the console times out after a period. I would rather use that one instead of the cargo area receptacle that is always on.

I will know more when we leave Hutchinson the week.

Its real simple to fix, run a charge line from the chassis battery to the toad battery with a 20 amp self setting fuse on both batterys using at a minimum of #12 wire. Or do a search for a Toad battery maintainer they are priced from around $20 just the maintainer to $ 80 for the LSL that will have everything U need including instructions. I have used one for years on all my toads for years with no worries a bout a dead battery on the toad.
There are a lot of companys that make the battery maintainers
