4 wheel/tow function quit working

i have a 2015 jeep trailhawk. the tow/ 4 wheel function stopped working after changing battery, all fuses good. any suggestions would be appriecated.

Detach the negative battery cable for*ten minutes

Reconnect the battery and start the car

Drive the car for at least*10 miles*to let the engine control units find any potential problems


Most of the time this clears the problem with Jeep products.

I too have a 2015 Trailhawk. The electric transfer case actuator on Cherokees etal is known to fail. No recall or TSB for this. The new actuator was modified to fix the issues that caused failures. A dealer service shop can test/confirm.
