A bit off topic but it would be nice if there was a "sticky" thread for people to post actual weights they obtained on their various toads and motorhomes. Yes, I know there are plenty of variables (options, amount of tank liquids, etc,,) but it would still give us a decent figure to get started with.

Researching online, it's easy to find GVWR and GCWRs for different motorhome models. However, these numbers aren't a whole lot of help because CCC and UVW/dry weight is not usually easy to find. Being able to look up ballpark numbers would sure be nice for us to at least get a rough estimate of CCC/payload capacity for a particular model.

Thought Id post an update after we finished building our Jeep to our wants so you can see how weight is affected to certain mods you may plan on doing with your Jeep after purchase. Fuel level was the same as it was when weighed stock and driver weight same. Mods from stock include; Mopar lift, 35x12.5R17 E range tires, blue ox baseplate, SMI Duo brake system, steel front bumper, 10k Smittybilt Winch, Viair 450 air compressor, Recovery gear, shovel, straps, medic kit, etc. minus the 170lbs driver we are still under the 5k tow rating of our gasser coach and it towed great over the mountains.

We added a 20 JLUR, 2.0 Auto with the Sky roof to our stable this past weekend. Im weighing (pun intended) how to make it towable while adding the least weight. Id like a winch but that may have to wait.

I've just driven my vehicle through a weight station that's not open. They generally leave the scales on.

My 2013 Jeep Wrangler unlimited (4dr) weighed in at 4,600 lbs at the CAT scale . That was with full tank of fuel and no driver or passengers. I had to do it to with my coach to see all axle and towed weights so I knew what the weight was going down the road.
