Air Force One. Braking system

Any experience with this system? Looking to upgrade from Brake
Buddy and like the idea of proportionate braking.

Pretty much considered the Caddilac of systems for a air brake coach.

Like mine, EZ hookup. One of the best systems out there.

I choose Air Force one because of it simple hook up. Plug in the air line form the MH. Plug in brake LED light over the interior mirror to be seen with the rear view camera (this LED light is acknowledgment that the system is functioning). There is no other items that need to be installed each time you hook up the brake system.
No storage of brake apparatus after removal from toad. Simple

Air Force One. Braking system

AF1 is a very nice system.
It is hidden for the most part and connecting is just the air line umbilical between coach and toad.
I did make use of some existing wiring and a light on dash of coach to monitor when brakes are depressed on toad.
It is complete with both coach and toad breakaway protection.
We originally installed on our Suburban and MADP. When I added a Jeep I did put the M&G system on it and it works just fine with the AF1 on the coach side.

I've been sing the system for almost ten years. I installed it on two different coaches and five toads. I don't like the LED on the mirror of the toad and did like "Spk64" did. I ran an additional line through the wiring umbilical to the dash, where I installed a red light. I can see the brakes are functioning without taking my eyes off the road.

We also use the Air Force 1 brake. I did run another wire to the dash for the indicator light. Once set up all it takes is connecting an air line and safety cable while hooking up the tow bar. Very simple.

Been using it for 7 years now. Like others, I like the ease of set up and nothing to store when not in use other than the small diameter air line.

By far the best system out there. 5 minute hookup/disconnect.

Just completed the first leg of our first trip towing our 2017 Wrangler Unlimited using the AF1. Takes only a couple of minutes to connect the toad, with just a simple air hose hookup to connect the brakes. Towed great with no issues. Installer put the red indicator" light on the dash just in front of the steering wheel. Easy to see against the black interior when looking in the rear view camera. I love it and am glad I went with the AF1.

Same here. Installed it a year ago and have pulled the toad with it for at least 3000 trouble free miles. Love it.

I believe it is the most convenient and reliable system out there. We love this system.

We've had Air Force One on two DPs. It's THE BEST! EASE of use, totally reliable, and much better than a unit that goes on the toad's floor! The cost is well worth it!
