another toad wiring ????

I asked the 7 to 6 pin question and greatly appreciate the responses. I didn't think my Dodge would need the charge line, but tonight when I was was checking everything before wiring tomorrow I noticed something that made me question the charge line issue. When I place the vehicle ready to tow, the manual calls for the key to be in the off position which is position 1 on the column. This position keeps the wheel from locking, but it also turns on the digital odometer. Since it does that is it a good idea to just wiring in the charge line? Thanks again for the help. Brad

Have it and not need it.... Cost for a few feet of wire and a fuse. Not have it and battery keeps going dead???? I'd put it in.

A lot of toads suggest in the owners manual, pulling a fuse or two to turn off electrical circuits. There are fuse disconnect switches available or you can make one very simply.
