Any Difference Between 2021 and 2022 Ram 1500?
Just picked up a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie to replace my 2008 Chevy Silverado. I plan on purchasing the Demco baseplate for the Ram and was wondering if there are any physical differences between the 21 and 22 MY's in terms of physical mounting designs of the truck? Since this is next model year, Demco hasn't updated their websites yet. Based on my gut feel, I think that the 21 stuff will work on the 22, but thought I would check to see if anyone has gone down "this road" yet.

Took a chance and ordered the 2021 Demco baseplate for the Ram. Funny enough, just after I placed the order, the websites were all updated with the 2022 information. And even better, the baseplate is the same.
Spent most of the day on Saturday installing. Job was pretty straight forward and uneventful. I also purchased the “plug in” tail light harness so I didn’t have to splice into the truck’s wiring as well as another break-way kit to work with my RVI3 brake box.
I still need to terminate the 6-way plug and mount the breakaway switch, so plan on finishing that up today. I’ll try to post some pics when done…

As promised, here are a couple of "during" and "after" install pics for the Ram...

Nice install Duane. I couldn’t bring myself to put holes in the lower grill for the breakaway and the lighting so I made some brackets. I like yours better maybe in the spring I’ll redo mine. Looks great

Thanks Ranger! This was about the easiest install that I have ever done. Don't worry about drilling/cutting a couple of holes in that plastic... Nice thing is that you can buy a replacement panel from Mopar should you want to return back to stock.
Let me know if you want to see any "behind the bumper" pics...

I’m pretty sure he used the same one I did. It’s a Curt wiring harness. It’s plug and play no splice. Has factory plugs to connect to the tail lights

This is what I purchased...
My truck is the crew cab with the 6'4" bed (long bed), and the only issue I had with this wiring harness, was that it was not quite long enough to make it all the way to the front of the truck. I had to take the extra wiring "pigtail" that was included and splice it. But other than that, it was plug and play!
