Do diesel RV's have ABS that kick in when you do a panic stop?

I usually set my Brake Buddy on a higher than suggested setting so I get more braking when going down hills...or for panic stops. I know it puts more wear on the toad brakes, but they never lock up and I can feel it helping the coach stop or slow down. Further, brake replacements on the Ford toad cost less than on the motorhome.

It is just another cost of the hobby. It is way cheaper than paying a lawyer $250/hr to defend you in a civil suit.

All wheel disk brakes and ABS on my rig along with up to 600 hp retarding from my engine brake.

Supplemental braking system is legally required some of the places I may want to drive, so that is sufficient. I have had a number of panic stops while towing - no way to tell if I would have had more panic stops without the braking system or whether the panic stops I did have would have resulted in collisions. I trust research I have seen on stopping distances, and I enjoy the peace of mind.

M&G are the best and easiest to install, one air line. We love driving the mountains and wouldn't do without.
