Anyone ever…

Made an attachment for your toad rear trailer hitch with tail lights on it and wired separate from the towed vehicle?

Not really wanting to cut into any wires or drill holes in the firewall on the new Wrangler 4xE.

Thinking it should work, any input appreciated.

I bought a kit and mounted the bulbs for the turn signal and running lights in the rear tail light housing. Ran the wiring underneath the rig from front to back. Brake lights are activated by my Brakemaster system when the brakes are applied. Been installed for +11 years.

I think I made my first tow light bar 50 years ago.
