Anyone four down tow 2020 Blazer

Seems the procedure for 2020 Blazer four down towing has changed.

1. Position the vehicle to be towed and secure it to the towing vehicle.
2. Put the vehicle in N (Neutral).
3. Shut the engine off (vehicle will remain in accessory mode).
4. Disconnect the negative (−) terminal connector from the 12-volt battery.
5. Close the hood of the vehicle.

A) Anyone have any experience with installing disconnect switch on 2020 blazer or disconnecting the negative terminal of battery?
B) Anyone four down tow a 2020 Blazer? Good? Bad?

Was all set with a Trailblazer when I saw new discounts and procedure for Blazer. Now I have to look at it.

Forget the Blazer. One has to start it every fuel stop that means opening hood and connecting battery, then disconnecting when done. My luck has it will be raining hard every time I do that!

I want something easier. I wish Buick Envision wasnít so darn expensive with the 2.0 liter turbo. Maybe I can get a great discount when the 2021 model comes around?

We went to drive a 2020 Sonic today. Date on tires was June 2019. Itís been on the lot for a year. It hasnít moved since last time I saw it. Of course the battery was dead and couldnít be jumped. Told me to come back in couple hours. Went home and stayed home. Then I read GM is discontinuing the Sonic. Maybe I can get it half off in couple months!

Finding a toad is so frustrating! May have to consider s dolly. But even with that there are fewer and fewer front wheel drive cars!

I give up!

The new Ford Ranger is towable four down and itís easy to engage tow mode and no battery to disconnect. On our last trip I towed it 8 straight hours with no need to do anything. Stopped, slept, woke up and did my walk around then back on the road for 4 more hours. Got to our park, unhooked and it started right up and we were off to site see. Itís quite zippy with the turbo charged ecoboost.

Honda CRVís, up to 2014 are good toads as well.

For a list of towable cars checkout Motorhome magazines dinghy guides.
