Anyone install an RVi brake system?
How difficult? Any advice or tips? TIA. JR

Are you talking about he RVi brake system? If so, I use it (the RVibrake3)...works great, and having the remote touchscreen to configure, test and monitor is something I like a lot.

We use the rvibrake3, fairly simple after the initial install. Lay it in the floorboard, make connection at the brake pedal, connect the break away wiring, connect the power supply, follow the audio prompts for test/setup and you're done.

Been using the RViBrake2 for 6 years now... first on a Chevy Sonic and now on a Ford Explorer AWD. NO problems.

Check out SMI Stay in Play Duo sold by Demco and
available at Camping World. A little more to install,
but once done, simply flip a switch and off you go.

Using an RVi3 brake system on a 2016 Wrangler. Easy set up. 6 trips so far, works great. I like the ability to manually activate brakes on the tow vehicle by using the tablet.
We will be switching tow vehicles soon to a Jeep Gladiator. So swapping a portable system is easy.

RVi2 Brakes:
‘15 Jeep Wrangler
‘19 Ford Ranger
Easy to install/set up. Easy to swap vehicles. Need hot 12v connection for power. Consider Toad battery charger. One wire (breakaway) to run thru firewall.

I had a Brake Buddy previously but sold it with previous Toad as a complete package.
Decided to try RVi3 system and installed in on a 2014 Honda CRV. Really like it. Have had an issue w the tablet but RVi replaced it promptly and you can still run the system without the tablet.
Install is simple... invaded a Toad charge line w inline breaker when I did the install. It saves having to pull fuse which was a bit of a pain.

I've had one for a few years and like it a lot. The initial install took about an hour and installing the brake before taking off takes literally about a two minutes. I've lost the link to the remote a couple of times, but the brake still works even if you don't see it in the tablet. I'm not sure why it does that, but bringing the remote up to the front near the tablet usually solves the issue.
