Anyone towing a heavy duty truck?

I just traded my jeep on a Ram 2500 Diesel. Is anyone towing a heavy duty? I have a tag axle 450hp motorhome and have towed a f150 with a 1000 plus pound golf cart so I’m guessing my ram is about 1500-2000 pounds heavier than that.

Thoughts?

I am in the process of setting up a 2020 Chevy Duramax heavy duty, there is a sticker on the inside of the door that says it weighs 8200 pounds will also have a cart in bed, found a tow bar with a 12,000 pound capacity and my RV is a super C international that can tow 20,000 so that’s not an issue. Had some other questions that I will post on this forum. As long as you’re within weight specs I don’t see it being a problem.

Towed an F-350 behind my '14 Entegra with no issues. +/- 8,000 lbs. Used 10,000 lb. Demco towbar and Air Force1 braking system. Towed mostly in the Western US.

I'm towing a F-250 behind my LA. Was towing a F-150. Can't tell a whole lot of difference.

I have never seen a truck that has the actual weight on a sticker on the door, the optional equipment makes too much difference. I believe what you are looking at is the GVWR or Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 8,200 lbs. If you want the actual weight of your vehicle you need to get it weighed at a truck stop or some other vehicle scale, maybe a grain elevator or a junk yard.
