Earlier this week there was one sitting behind a MH here in Bluewater Key RV park in Key West. I did not look at the front to see if it was a towed. If it turns up before we leave Thursday I'll interview him/her and report here.

With the battery dead, the doors won't open except with the key.
The car cannot be jump started, no matter what the manual says.
You must recharge the battery and wait 10 minutes for the computer to reset itself before you can start the car.

Thanks for the reply, sir! That sounds like more trouble than it's worth!

Have you tried to install a 12vcharge line from your motorhome to your towed car? I think that may the ticket in this application.

I don't really understand why anyone would not install a charge line in whatever they are towing. 99% of the time the wiring is already in place on the motorhome and it takes about 10 extra minutes if done while installing your lighting and brake wiring.

I started dealing one on of these a couple years ago. Thank God I found they were totally imported from China. Dealing ended at that point. I stuck with the Enclave model (2017), our second one and we love it. Two fuse switches, Trans in neutral, and the key in accessory. Piece of cake.

Be nice if you guys would read the thread.
He doesn't have any wires between his Moho and the car. He uses a wireless brake light bar so that he doesn't have to run wires.

Sounds like a battery disconnect switch would be the solution.

Im giving my dolly toad to my daughter next month so we Searched for a new used toad for the past 8 months, I almost bought the Buick envision but just didnít like the used ones I found and drove. Either did my wife. So I search and search until I found a well equipped 2014 Honda CRV with 16K mikes on it! (Last flat towable year) wanted to stay in the 3k lbs weight range. Havenít set it up as a flat tow yet. Doing that after the new year. But I plan on running a charging wire.

Good find! If I could find a low mileage 14 CRV w/navi I'd probably go for it too.
Just don't see any. So we've decided it will be a 17 or 18 V6 Edge Titanium. Hopefully not black.

We have 2019 Buick Envision, tow bar is Roadmaster Sterling, brake system is SMI Stay-N-Play. Still have to pull the fuses 29 and 32. Tow with no issues.
