Let us know if you find out on the wrangler. Sounds interesting.

Kinda wish we had kept our leaf just in case we go back to a smaller motorhome. Only way to tow our Tesla is on a trailer.

Might pop in to the Jeep dealer and see what info they have on the wrangler PHEV.

from another post here on irv2, the Wrangler 4xe can be flat towed. I looked it over on the website... for my purposes it is a no-go based on EV range alone. Only 21 miles battery.

I'll likely find a used Spark EV and dolly tow that.

Thanks for the info. Are sparks hard to find?

I am sure that happens. I went with a used dolly, we weren’t sure how long we would keep our current car, didn’t want to purchase base plate etc. on an older car. Paid $2500.00 for 2 year old Landgrebe with surge brakes, rock guard and caster steer. I did upgrade tires to 8 ply Maxxis tires.

I estimated that was about half what a new flat tow setup would cost.

Flat tow looks quick and convenient might try it some day.

As the existing fleet of smaller four down towable cars drys up I can see the used value of dolly’s being a little more resilient. Because sometimes right now one can find some pretty smokin deals on them.

I have loaded and unloaded in a light rain but not in a down pour. I would wait it out. I like to load the day before departing so I can better manage weather.

Does anyone know if the new ford ranger can be towed four down? Nice alternative to the Jeep Wrangler.
I have been towing a 2020 Ranger for nearly a year. So far I really like it not only as toad but a nice truck in general.

I have seen the same. Just over the pass couple of years. I just assumed; people started RVing and their cars could not be 4 down. In time that will change as they update cars.
