I've also had good luck buying new ones of of eBay. I have had both Blue Ox and Demco and IMO the Demco is more robust and dependable.

I agree with eTrailer as a good vendor. I have a Demco baseplate. Love the simplicity and effectiveness of our Readybrute Elite Towbar. The towbar uses a surge brake system and is quite economical vs other setups. I did the installation myself and it's not too hard to complete.
