Baseplate Installation on late model Tahoe?

Am considering a change in my TOAD, the blue ox instructions look pretty straight forward, I was wondering if anyone had any recent experience with the installation.

Thanks

I just put one on a 2011 Tahoe. Just as instructions said, it was pretty easy about 3 hours complete. If you could get to the bolts under the bumper cover without taking it off it would take about 20 minutes. Drill 2 holes is all. I did not cut out the holes where the tow hooks go thru. I unsnaped the cover around the holes and took them off the bumper assembly. there was plenty of room for the baseplate.

What year is your Tahoe? We put them on a 2007 and although the instructions stated "no cutting required" that was NOT the case. Appeared that there were minor changes made by GM and not picked up by BO. A real PITA frankly.

Just changed toads to an Escape and the BO instructions, while they could have been better, were accurate.

I did not have to cut anything. The trim around the tow hooks snaps in. Just took it out and there is lots of room for base plate parts.
