Question Blue Ox Autostop brake system discontinued?

I am having the Autostop braking system included on my flat tow setup for my new car at the recommendation of the RV dealer doing the install. I was doing some research about the Autostop and discovered 2 things. 1) most people like it and recommend it. 2) Blue Ox has discontinued it and is not mentioned anywhere on their website.
My question is why did they discontinue it? and when was it discontinued? I can't seem to find the answer to this, only that is has been discontinued.
I think the dealer has these in stock and am worried that they are just trying to dump their current inventory.

I was looking for this also, I purchased the Blue Ox tow bar planning to purchase the auto stop add on later. Now that I want it it is discontinued.
I contacted blue ox and they said they didn't have that much interest in the product.
I like thus unit because i tow my jeep behind different vehicles and this system appears to work great for that.

I think Ready Brake works on the same principal as the Autostop

Yes it does look very similar.
I just already have the Blue Ox tow bar and had planned to purchase the Auto Stop to add to it. it will be much more expensive to have to purchase the ready stop tow bar and brake system, but that is what I will have to do next spring before I start towing again.
I did get a response from Blue Ox:
"It was becoming nearly impossible to install the autostops in the new vehicles because you have to run the cable though the engine compartment. When doing this there could only be 4 bends in the wire and no more than 2 inches of bend at each spot. The newer vehicles have some much more electronics, sensors etc. in them that it was no longer an option.

As for if Blue Ox will ever manufacture them, I'm not for sure but as of right now no, there isn't a new production date. I apologize."
I have been searching for someone who has left over stock of the Blue Ox brake units, but have not been able to locate one.

I got mine at an RV dealer service center. They seem to have several in stock and are selling them as a package with the tow bar and baseplate.

Also, can't you just add the readybrake to your blue ox tow bar?
