Well,
As usual, sooooooooooo much *over worrying* about a simple issue (if you want to call it an issue) when it comes to basic RVing. If the plugs are tight fitting, they make tools for cleaning and polishing (ultra small rotary wire brushes) for making sure that all the pins are clean. Then, spray it with WD-40, Silicone grease, dielectric grease, whatever. I can tell you it won't ROT off your your coach and toad, from the time you leave your departure point to the time you stop and disconnect!
You can wipe off any excess just to maybe slow down the dirt/dust attraction. Besides, most RVers would rather have those plugs a bit on the tight side so they don't FALL OUT while towing.
