There is a key hidden in your key fob that will open the driver's door. It may set off the alarm but at this point I think you'd be willing to risk that. I don't think a car with a dead 12 volt battery is going to make much noise.

Get one of those mini jump packs. So that you can jump start the car using the jump post under the hood. Once you get the car's electronics rebooted, the high voltage battery will start your engine, start charging your 12 volt battery and hopefully everything will begin to work again at that point.

2020 Ford Escape Hybrid

I don't have the Titanium. I tried using the key and it doesn't work. It will not lock or unlock the car. Does anyone know if the key only works if the battery is
low?

Hmmm.... the key works fine on our 2020 SE Sport Hybrid AWD and we've never had a battery issue. We tried it out a few days after we bought the car just to see how it worked.

We are getting ready to set it up for towing and have decided to use Ready Brute Elite. That will minimize any electrical draw, but we're also going to have a charge line as well.

Please let me know how everything works out. I have a escape on order. Planning on doing the same.

Manual key

Works Find on my titanium. But I had to reverse it to one direction not the other. Try it both ways
