Blue Ox system was wired up by a local garage. Brake controller goes thru setup procedure fine.

But…nothing happens when I apply brakes in motorhome.

Any ideas at all as to what I can check? I was planning to leave early tomorrow for vacation…

This is the first time trying to use the Patriot III. Of course, Blue Ox has no support until Monday.

Toad is a 2017 Jeep Wrangler…jk.

All ideas appreciated…

How do you know its not working? Sitting in the driveway stepping on the mh brake? Or are you out on the road testing and being pushed by the toad?

Drive. I have pressed brake in MH. Neighbor standing outside Jeep has seen no activity from Patriot system.

Soon as football game ends…I am gonna take it out for road test.

Hello, what Winger2 said is correct to my knowledge. There is a built in inertia switch in the blue ox that depending on how hard you press on your brakes in the motorhome will translate into how much braking is applied by the blue ox in the tow car. But I'm pretty sure that in order for this to be taking place the vehilce must be moving. I have the original blue ox and I have a dial gauge in my motorhome in order to adjust the brake pressure once you have calibrated the unit and there are no error messages all should be good.

Its not going to work by pressing the brake, its inertia, has to be moving at moderate speed
