Blue Ox loose connections

I have a Blue Ox towing system and there is play in all the connections. Especially at the point where the 2 bars join. In fact the connector hole is not round but oval, is that okay or should it be a circle?

There is even play at the point where the bars connect to the car.

I have no idea how old this is, nor do I know if there is to be play anywhere.

Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like it is wore out.......you can buy rebuild kits online , but no rebuilding it if it was used to the point where bolt holes are oval ........
Time for a new one is my thoughts .
