Blue Ox Patriot 2 no power

What a day. Got the 2017 Equinox hooked up to tow behind the Class C first time this year. We were unable to get the power to turn on to Ox. The cords power light was on but the power button did zip. Not sure if there is a fuse that has blown as I find nothing when I Google it. Blue Ox phone system goes nowhere. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of an accessible fuse, though I'd have to look mine over to be sure. The owners manual doesn't address a fuse either. The 12v power cable shouldn't be more than 2 amps maximum.

You don't mention your location for a possible authorized repair shop, or whether your unit is under warranty, or if you purchased it used, so depending on all of this some other avenues of support might be available.

I'd call their customer care. Are you using the right phone number? (402) 385-3051

If so and you're not getting through, or they're not returning any phone calls, you can write a service request and fax it to them at (402) 385-3360. Or, there's the old fashioned snail mail:
Blue Ox
One Mill Road, Industrial Park
Pender, Nebraska 68047

Hope this helps some..

I don't have my brake controller here. But I thought the power plug was one of those that house a glass fuse???

I have had this happen to my Patriot II also. Always had to reinsert the power plug into the 12 volt receptacle several times to get it seated right (?) to get power on the Patriot II. Not sure why this happens!
