Contact Blue Ox. I've heard they stand behind their products.

I had the same problem - in my case it was probably largely self inflicted. I went through several steps with help from BO. Eventually I had to send it in to be refurbished and now it works perfectly - at least I think it does. $95 plus one way shipping.

There is an adjustment screw behind the rubber plate on the raised portion containing the lever. It adjust the catch on that lever. Blue Ox is very helpful and they will let you know how to make the adjustment. It is an easy adjustment to make.

They are sometimes at large RV gatherings with a "rebuild" shop. Had ours done at Quartzsite last year - - $25.
