Blue tooth signal boost Brake Controller

I have a Curt wireless brake controller at the rear of my 38 ft rig next to the hitch connection for my dolly. It works by connecting to my cell phone via Bluetooth . With the phone at the drivers seat I can actuate the dolly brakes via the CURT automatically or overide manually.

However I often loose signal between the drivers seat and the Curt controller. It continues to work safely at its last setting but I loose the ability to manually set the brakes when the signal drops from the cell phone ap 38' forward of the hitch. I use a dedicated cell phone- no other apps or phone service set up on that cell- with Bluetooth to get the strongest signal possible. But its just not enough horsepower.

I've searched hi and low for some sort of signal booster-- but I am dumb as a brick about Bluetooth signals and what type of booster to buy-- or even how to set it up. Some boosters I've found are limited they say to only audio etc. Does anyone know of a specific device i should be looking for?

(Curt says they are aware people have boosted the signal for thierwireless controller but no one knows how its been done???)

I'd suspect their controller is designed for the back of a pickup truck and not a 38' long motorhome. Does the manual say what version of Bluetooth it uses? Hopefully it's 4.something.

Thanks Ray I tried to get that info but no luck. They advertise that if over 50' then one might expect problems. I'm well under that?? (Actual about 34')
