Has any one out there had a problem with there brake buddy we are on our second one in 3 years and cannot seem to get a response from the brake buddy source,as we are in the desert no phone at present will change that soon we must use this modern internet to communicate when we can.Our brake buddy will take over 3 minutes to pump up and then records the usual bleed brakes but in addition it shows compressor light on and of course you cannot bleed the brakes then buy pushing the test button?we have a new battery in the truck and it is fully charged am i missing something of which i am wiling to try before i hang it on the back of my truck with a bag of yellow oranges for the birds to pick at while i go buy a another brand for every ones safety.ps i must admit the fist time this happened they got a replacement to me in a matter of 3 weeks but i am not sitting here that long--- cheers Blake in Arizona now Quartsite

Unplug your Brake Buddy then start your vehicle up. With the engine running plug the Brake Buddy back in and see if it works okay. If this solves your problem you have a weak battery/low voltage. You may have to install the kit to run a plug directly off the battery.

Glad to hear I'm not the only person having trouble with Brake Buddy. Mine is 3 years old and has been back to the plant every year for problems, mostly curcuit boards.
On this trip, first one since getting it back for a new board, it lasted one full day! The last time they repaired it they told me to wiring on my Saturn Vue is too light and I should run a direct wire to the battery. BS! I contacted Saturn and was told this is 18 Ga wire and if this was a problem ALL GM vehicles would have it.
Sounds like there are some lemons out there and we have one.
Anyone have any ideas, other than buying somone elses product?
Maby we should retitle this topic!
