Brake Buddy Vantage Select and Hybrids

Good morning,
Purchased a Brake Buddy
vantage Select last winter to tow our Ford Ranger and it works really well.
We just got a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Turns out the Vantage Select is not for the Fusion Hybrid. They have a new system called the Stealth made for hybrids only. What a bummer. If we take advantage of their loyalty program the price is reduced but I have to send the Vantage Select back.
Been pleased with Brake Buddy for years. (had an old one fore years before last winter) Problem, by their design, we need two different aux systems.
May be time to find another company. Anyone know of an aux brake system that will work on "regular" vehicles and Ford hybrid?

Thanks,
I'm ok with what works with the hybrid. I'd like to see if any aux brake units will work on regular brakes and hybrid brakes.

Thanks Ditto,
read the posts and went to the site. I must have missed where it works on both hybid and regular brakes.

What about the RV2? Did you have to buy their tow bar too?
The system looks like its $1200+ -.
I'm hoping some one has figured out how to use the Vantage Select on a hybrid. Then I won't have to buy anything.

I use same tow bar ( blue ox) on both vehicles. My hybrid ( I expect yours too) has full time electric breaks vs vacuum assist. Rvi explains how you can confirm this. Because electric breaks are always on...engine on or off...less pressure is needed to apply them. Thus a supplemental brake system needs to be matched to the type of brakes you have. Nice part about rvi is it does BOTH kinds of breaking systems.
Pm me if you would like to discuss my experience.
